If you have a degree in natural sciences, health sciences or a related subject, then the Dr. rer. biol. hum. is perfect for you.

To ensure the high quality, the Medical Faculty selects its doctoral candidates in a 2-stage process.

You must register your project in the Campus Portal and at the Doctoral Office within 3 months of starting.

A committee with 3 members accompanies your project and documents the progress in TAC meetings.

A minimum of 2 years of full-time research work is required for the Dr. med.

As part of your doctoral project, you should publish at least one publication as a co-author.

Once you have reached all the milestones of your doctoral project, you can submit your dissertation.

At least three evaluations will be prepared for your dissertation.

The defense is a scientific discussion with your examination committee.

You will receive your doctoral certificate after you have published your statutory copies.
