The application process for the Dr. rer. biol. hum.
The Faculty of Medicine at LMU attaches great importance to the quality of its doctoral projects. For this reason, doctoral candidates are selected in a two-stage selection process:
Step 1: Selection of doctoral candidates based on the following criteria:
- Project description (1 page)
- Composition of the proposed supervisory committee
- curriculum vitae
- Statement of the ethics committee, if applicable
Selection committee: Doctoral committee
The application will only be accepted if there is a reasonable prospect of successfully completing the scientifically supervised doctoral procedure.
Stage 2: Project assessment
- Assessment of the project by the chairing member of the doctoral committee on the basis of the target agreement.
- If the target agreement is not approved, the project is deemed to have been terminated.
