If you have a degree in a natural science and your supervisor has a Dr. rer. nat. in addition to the right to supervise, then the Dr. rer. nat. doctorate is suitable for you.
Doctor of natural sciences
If you have a Master's or equivalent degree in a natural science and if you are supervised by a member of the LMU Faculty of Medicine who is authorized to supervise and who holds the title Dr. rer. nat. themselves, then the Dr. rer. nat. could be the right choice for you
The supervision of Dr. rer. nat. projects
Dr. rer. nat. projects can only be supervised by faculty members who hold the title Dr. rer. nat.
