Who can become a PULSE Talent?

PULSE is aimed at outstanding international talents who wish to further their academic development and work at the intersection of public health, epidemiology, AI and data science. The key criteria are academic calibre, suitability for the programme, motivation and a willingness to participate actively in the PULSE programme.

The Criteria

A strong academic background and clear motivation for undergraduate study, research or a PhD.

An interest in public health, epidemiology, AI, data science or data-driven health sciences.

Intention to pursue one of the selected Master’s programmes or a suitable PhD option at LMU.

Willingness to actively participate in mentoring, onboarding, German language courses, networking and career development activities.

Note

Admission to PULSE does not replace regular admission to the respective master's or doctoral program.

Selection and Matching

Program-funded recruiting and pre-arrival initiatives are awarded based on quality, in a structured manner, and according to professional fit.
