There are 6 different Ph.D. core areas at our faculty. In addition, there are numerous Collaborative Research Centers (SFBs) and associated programs that offer the Ph.D. Medical Research as part of a graduate program.
Core areas and associated programs
There are currently 6 core areas and numerous graduate programs at our Faculty, which offer the Ph.D. in Medical Research. Since not all departments offer a part of a core area or are associated with a research training group, there is also the option to do an “individual Ph.D. Medical Research”.
