The application process for the Dr. med.
The Faculty of Medicine at LMU attaches great importance to the quality of its doctoral projects. For this reason, doctoral candidates are selected in a two-stage selection process:
Step 1: The selection of doctoral candidates based on the following criteria:
- Project description (1 page)
- Composition of the proposed supervisory committee
- curriculum vitae
- Statement of the ethics committee, if applicable
Selection committee: Doctoral committee
The application will only be accepted if there is sufficient prospect of successful completion of the doctoral project.
Step 2: Project evaluation
- Assessment of the project by the Chair of the doctoral committee based on the target agreement.
- If the target agreement is not approved, the project is deemed to be terminated.
