For all who would like to register their doctoral project in human medicine as of October 1, 2018.

The doctoral project in human medicine (Dr. med.)

If you are studying human medicine or have already completed your medical studies, then the doctorate in medicine is suitable for you.

The Faculty of Medicine values the quality of its doctoral projects. That's why doctoral candidates are selected in a 2-stage process.

You must register your project in the Campus Portal and at the Doctoral Office within 3 months of starting.

A 3-member committee accompanies your project and documents the progress in TAC meetings.

A minimum of 8 months of full-time research work is required for the Dr. med.

As part of your doctoral project, you should publish at least one publication as a co-author.

Once you have reached all the milestones of your doctoral project, you can submit your dissertation.

At least three evaluations will be prepared for your dissertation.

The defense is a scientific discussion with your examination committee.

You will receive your doctoral certificate after you have published your statutory copies.
