Céline studied biology at the University of Rennes in France. She then moved to Switzerland to perform her PhD in the lab of Prof. Frédéric Gachon at the University of Lausanne and the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences. Her project consisted in the investigation of the role of the circadian clock in the regulation of liver metabolism. She joined the lab of Prof. Henriette Uhlenhaut at Helmholtz Munich (Germany) as a postdoc with an Early Postdoc Mobility fellowship she obtained from the Swiss National Science Foundation. She became interested in the regulation of metabolism by the modulation of transcription factors activity at the chromatin level. She thus investigated the role of the Glucocorticoid Receptor in the regulation of Brown Adipose Tissue (BAT) metabolism. Then, she joined the lab of Dr. Kenneth Dyar at Helmholtz Munich (Germany) to investigate how the circadian clock regulates BAT metabolism. After that, she joined the lab of Prof. Maria Robles to continue her scientific journey in the circadian clock field.
