Ethics committee and ethics vote
All research projects involving humans must be reviewed and approved in advance by the ethics committee!
All research projects involving humans must be reviewed and approved in advance by the ethics committee!
If you are planning research on humans (clinical studies, biomedical research) as part of your doctorate, you need a positive ethics vote before starting your project. You can apply for this from the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine. If you are unsure whether an ethics vote is required, please contact them directly.
The Ethics Committee does not vote retroactively! Therefore, have your research project reviewed and approved before you start your project. Projects requiring approval for which no ethics vote has been obtained can neither be published nor submitted as a dissertation.
