We investigate the mechanisms of axon repair following spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. We use genetically-modified organisms and a wide range of molecular, histological, behavioral, electrophysiological and imaging techniques to design new therapies that promote the repair of axons following injuries. Another of our interests is the combination of treatments using for example gene-therapy and rehabilitation to improve function following injury. Read more...
