The curriculum is open to students in the Masters Programs in Biology and Biochemistry. It consists of
- the Lecture Immunology I (7C0731, 3 ECTS; Immunology II will be taught in the Sommersemester),
- the accompanying Seminar Immunology I (7C0713, 3 ECTS)
- Additional seminars (3 ECTS) on focused topics like Immunological Tolerance (L. Klein, 7C0725), Gene Regulation in the Adaptive Immune System (V. Heissmeyer, 7C0735), Immunological Memory (R. Obst, 7C0727) and Immunology Classics (R. Obst, 7C0752)
- Practical Course Immunology (7C0709/19248) a 3-week practical course which introduces methods of cellular and molecular immunology (flow cytometry, lymphocyte proliferation, cytotoxicity, effector functions, antibody labeling, immuneperoxidase staining, ELISA, Western blot). Successful completion of the Lecture Immunology I or II exam is prerequisite. (6 ECTS, only offered in the winter semester)
