Biomedical research produces enormous amounts of data that need to be analyzed, processed, stored and archived. This requires highly available high-performance systems that allow fast and secure data access, even remotely. In order to meet these requirements, the BMC has developed an IT concept based on the services provided by the Leibniz Supercomputing Center (LRZ). These are supplemented by local solutions.
The BMC IT team manages the IT infrastructure and continuously develops it in dialog with the scientists. The IT team also offers IT support and advice to all employees.
