Dr. med. Michael Günther

Michael became a group member as med student for his doctoral thesis but eventually found out that pathology is actually one of the greatest disciplines in medicine. Thus, after graduating from med school LMU, he started his residency in 2021. He characterized several biomarkers in pancreatic cancer and currently focuses on clinicopathological and morphological traits to predict patients´ outcomes. Besides, he also works on experimental, mainly cell culture based projects. When he is not busy with research, Michael enjoys playing and listening to classical music and playing traditional brass folk music.
