Prof. Dr. Luciana Besedovsky

Luciana Besedovsky is a professor at LMU Munich, where she has been heading the research group “Sleep and Immunology” since 2021. Her research group focuses primarily on investigating how sleep affects human health and the immune system. She obtained her doctorate at the Institute of Medical Psychology and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Tübingen, to which she returned as a group leader after a research residency at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA.
