Iris Bernhard

Iris Bernhard (née Köller) is a doctoral candidate in the field of human sleep and memory research. Her work focuses on sleep-dependent memory processes, particularly retrieval mechanisms. Since February 2024, she has been conducting her doctoral research at the research group of Prof. Besedovsky, supported by the LMU funding program for research and teaching (FöFoLe). Prior to the beginning of her academic training in human medicine, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and completed professional training as a pediatric nurse.
