International Programs at the LMU Faculty of Medicine

Grow — beyond is our programs’ motto. It accompanies medical students as they gain international experience and incorporates four dimensions: academic, intercultural, social and individual growth.

Make new friends, get to know this beautiful region

Are you keen on international learning, on making new contacts and getting to know international fellow students? The Study Buddy Program is designed for international students participating in the Medicine exchange programs. The aim of the program is to make the transition for exchange students into our curriculum as smooth as possible. Therefore, we match every incoming student with a student of our Faculty. The teams take the program together, meet up regularly to prepare the contents of the course and follow up on them, provide assistance in finding one’s way around the campus, help with language problems, offer tips on preparing for examinations, etc.

The program is organized by the LMU Medical Students Board (Arbeitskreis EMSA | MeCuMplus) and is open to interested students in full-time courses at LMU and its partner universities.
