Funding and career opportunities for students

There are numerous funding opportunities for LMU students at the Faculty of Medicine. In addition to the Bafög, other funding opportunities such as the Deutschlandstipendium and the scholarship from the Dr Hildegard and Heinrich Fuchs Foundation can be applied for. The LMU Career Service provides support for all career-related issues.

To apply for BaföG, you need a certificate in accordance with § 48 BaföG. Please visit our German website for more information.

Bafög applications for Medicine and Dentistry can only be processed online .

LMU research prize for excellent students

Every year, LMU awards the research prize for excellent students. Each year, the faculty teaching award committee meets to select the projects that will be forwarded to the LMU. Applications can be submitted by the student council or by members of the faculty.
