Our Master's program in Public Health promotes international exchange. Students have the opportunity to complete their mandatory internship abroad as well as an additional semester abroad through Erasmus+.
During the first semester, students receive detailed information about the possibility of studying abroad during an information event .
In the case of a stay abroad, various scholarships and funding opportunities are presented, for which students can apply.
With regard to a semester abroad via "Erasmus+," there are partnerships with the following universities:
- University of Bordeaux / France (language of instruction: French)
- Latvijas Universitāte (Riga) / Latvia (language of instruction: English)
- University of Porto / Portugal (language of instruction: English)
- Lund University / Sweden (language of instruction: English)
- Uppsala University / Sweden (language of instruction: English)
- University of Lucerne, Switzerland (language of instruction: English)

Incoming students
Would you like to study in Munich for one or two semesters? The Erasmus+ program makes this possible .
Language skills: All nominated students should have German language skills at level B1 at the time of nomination and at level B2 by the time they begin their studies at LMU.

- April 15: Admission for the winter semester or the entire academic year
- October 15: Admission to the summer semester
Application deadlines after nomination
- May 15 for the winter semester
- November 15 for the summer semester
European University Alliance for Global Health
LMU is part of the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH), together with partner universities in France, Sweden, Portugal, Hungary, Spain, Norway, Serbia and Germany.
Within the framework of EUGLOH, the participating universities develop joint courses, international courses, summer programmes and mobility formats on the topic of global health. Students benefit from an interdisciplinary approach that considers health issues from a medical, social, ecological and technological perspective. EUGLOH is funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme as part of the European Universities Initiative.
