Visiting Student Elective Program

Mainly targeted towards students from our non-European partners

This program provides an opportunity for international medical students to undertake clinical rotations at LMU Munich, facilitated by the International Office of Medicine.
International undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 3 years of a medical degree program are welcome to apply. Prospective applicants who have already graduated from medical school are not eligible to participate.

Please note:

Important information: Due to the currently high number of applicants from partner universities we anticipate that we will not be able to accept non-partner students in the foreseeable future.
Furthermore, we kindly ask students from partner universities who have not yet been nominated at LMU by their university to contact their International Office first and look into the possibility of a nomination via our exchange programs.
