The traditional Christmas Market on 2 December brought the BMC community together to celebrate the end of the year in a festive atmosphere. St Nicholas and Santa Claus spiced things up with a special surprise.
Every year at the beginning of December, the BMC invites all employees and their families to the Christmas Market. Festively decorated stalls around the maypole offer a colourful array of sweet and savoury treats and hot drinks. Marshmallows are grilled by the fire and plans for the New Year are made over a glass of punch. A highlight, not only for the children, is the visit from St Nicholas.
This year he had Santa Claus with him as an international guest who had a carol for the BMC in his gift bag. The BMC community sang along to ‘Sweet BMC’ and St Nicholas showed off his dancing skills. So good, so good...
All proceeds from the Christmas Market will be donated to charity. We would like to thank all the bakers, cooks, stallholders, organisers, set up helpers and everyone else who helped to make the Christmas Market a wonderful celebration.
