The BMC donates the proceeds from the Christmas market to the charity Sternstunden, supporting projects for children.

In addition to the world's best waffles and most delicious punch recipes, the BMC Christmas market has another particularly nice tradition: donating the proceeds to charity. The recent Christmas market 2022 raised 1,280€ which were donated to Sternstunden e.V.
Sternstunden has been overseeing projects for children and teenagers who are sick, disabled or in need for thirty years. The focus is on projects in Bavaria, but the association is also active nationally and internationally. Currently, for example, Sternstunden is helping those affected by the war in Ukraine, both citizens persevering in the country as well as refugees in Bavaria. Other activities include mitigating the psychological consequences of the Corona crisis, the treatment of rare diseases, or sports and exercise therapies for children with disabilities.
