Project proposals

Doctoral studies in "Molecular Medicine", "Clinical-Translational Medicine" and "Inflammation Research-EKFS"

The aim of the FöFoLe program is to train medical and dental students for research in medicine. This program was first established in July 2001 and promotes the training (12 months) of particularly talented and scientifically interested students of human medicine and dentistry for research in medicine. Since 2021, around 55 students will be admitted for a period of 12 months. The scholarship holders will receive a scholarship of €861/month for 12 months.

By July 1 of each year, habilitated professors of the LMU Faculty of Medicine can submit one or two project proposals for the three areas of the doctoral program "Molecular Medicine", "Clinical-Translational Medicine" and "Inflammation Research-ECFS". Non-habilitated supervisors (co-applicants) should have published at least four original papers. The project supervisors receive € 6,000 for 12 months including travel expenses (e.g. for a congress trip) to carry out the doctoral research project.
