Doctoral fellowship “PassIOn”

With the “PassIOn” doctoral fellowship, the Bristol Myers Squibb - Foundation for Immuno-Oncology is involved in promoting basic biomedical research, translational work and clinical and care-oriented research in immuno-oncology.

Objective:

Support for doctoral studies in the field of immuno-oncological research.

Funding period:

max. 12 months, max. 6 months extension possible

Funding amount:

1,000 euros per month

Further support:

Payment of travel expenses and conference fees, if required for the doctorate

Prerequisites

  • Medical doctorate at a Comprehensive Cancer Center in the field of immuno-oncology
  • Doctoral project includes an experimental part and is expected to make an important contribution to research
  • Break in studies for at least 6 months in favor of the doctorate
  • Above-average study and examination results
  • Enrollment at a state university
  • Supervision by a habilitated professor or private lecturer
  • You have not yet been awarded a doctorate, are not in professional training and are not working in an occupation that is incompatible with the funding

  • Proof of project management of existing patient collective (or recruitment within max. 6 months)
