The Bayer Foundation offers three scholarships for outstanding master's, doctoral and medical students to conduct international research projects, internships and more. These scholarships aim to enrich ongoing education by providing additional funding for international research stays that complement current or future scientific studies.

Otto Bayer Fellowship in the field of Drug Discovery

For master's and doctoral students in all scientific disciplines, including pharmacy and data science, who are conducting basic or applied research relevant to the pharmaceutical and consumer health (over-the-counter) industries.

Jeff Schell Scholarship for Agricultural Science

For Master's and PhD students in all scientific disciplines, including data science, who are conducting basic or applied research relevant to the crop science industry.

Carl Duisburg Scholarship for Medicine

For all students of human and veterinary medicine as well as master's and doctoral students in medical technology, applied medicine and public health.

Successful applicants receive up to 10,000 euros in funding and can complete stays of between two and six months. Students in Germany must carry out their projects in another country, and those applying from outside Germany complete their fellowships at German research institutions.
