Dimitra Konstantinidou is a PhD candidate and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in the EU project “Medicine Made to Measure” at the Institute of Ethics, History and Theory of Medicine at LMU Munich. Her doctoral research explores ethical challenges in clinical practice, research and health care related to tailored genetic treatments, with a particular focus on individualized therapies (N-of-1), informed consent and pricing of pharmaceuticals. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Ioannina, where she examined the concept of person in medical ethics in light of Immanuel Kant’s moral philosophy and contemporary Kantian moral theories, especially in the context of genetic engineering and AI in healthcare.
