Diversity in research and talent promotes excellence in science.

“Diversity, Identity and Fate at Biomedical Frontiers” alludes to different definitions of “diversity” relevant to science. Research at the Biomedical Center investigates the diversity, individuality and adaptability of cells. At the same time, we are committed to promote collaboration, diversity and scientific integrity within our scientific community.

With this symposium we want to spotlight that scientific excellence can best be achieved with broad academic and cultural backgrounds as well as multi-faceted lifestyles of the researchers that do the work. To recognize this diversity we invite 3 renowned Munich scientists to present their research and to share insights into experiences and challenges met during their scientific careers. Meet-the-speaker sessions following the talks, will provide opportunities for questions and open discussion. The program continues with an informal get-together.

All are welcome! Join us for this opportunity to network and exchange on exciting research as well as diversity in science – the topic that unites researchers from all cultures and at all stages of their careers.

Registration is required for catering and meet-the-speaker session. Register here.
