To understand the role of the ative chromatin in transcriptional regulation and genome stability, we study the essential kinase complex JIL-1/JASPer which is recruited to the active chromatin mark H3K36me3 genome-wide. Our model organism Drosophila melanogaster enables to use a wide variety of genomic and proteomic approaches in different developmental conditions. Read more...
