We focus on the digestive physiology and metabolism of different species. Under the translational aspect, we work with different animal models for e.g. diabetes and Alzheimer´s disease. In addition, we aim to broaden the knowledge on laboratory animals´ digestive physiology and requirements. We employ basic methods in animal nutrition, complemented by cutting-edge methods like -omics and interdisciplinary collaborations. Read more...
