Core Facility Proteomics

The Core Facility Proteomics analyzes complete proteomes and complex protein mixtures using mass spectrometry. Our expertise ranges from the identification and quantification of individual proteins or post-translational modifications to the mapping of protein-protein interactions and the analysis of entire proteomes as well as imaging mass spectrometry.

One focus of our research is the development of new methods for extracting quantitative data from proteome data. In the BMBF-funded CLINSPECT-M project, we are analyzing clinical samples to find new biomarkers for the diagnosis of diseases such as strokes.

We are listed as a Research Infrastructure in the RIsources database of the DFG.
