CITY CYCLING 2025

The BMC team once again took part in this year's CITY CYCLING campaign “Stadtradeln”. From 29 June to 19 July, the team covered with 67 cyclists a total of 10,348 kilometres by bike. Within the BMC team, the 'Neuroimmunology' sub-team achieved first place, covering 3,211 kilometres, closely followed by the 'Molecular Biology' sub-team with 2,557 kilometres. This was a great team effort that not only promotes health, but also sends a clear message about sustainable mobility.

In the municipality of Planegg, over 134,790 kilometres were cycled during the campaign period, corresponding to a saving of around 22 tons of CO₂.

STADTRADELN is a nationwide campaign in which participants aim to complete as many of their everyday journeys as possible by bike over a period of 21 days, whether regularly or occasionally. Every kilometre counts.
