Campus Life

In an environment of intensive research and work, a well-designed infrastructure is essential. That is why the campus offers a wide range of catering facilities, events and leisure activities:

If you want to keep fit or improve your health, you can use the soccer pitch (BMC/Klinikum Großhadern), beach volleyball court, table tennis table, outdoor chess set or foosball table, or take part in one of the many activities offered by the Central University Sports Center.

To make cycling even more attractive, BMC employees have the opportunity to take advantage of JobBike Bayern and the bicycle repair station on campus. Once a year, the BMC cycling team also takes part in the nationwide STADTRADELN campaign and pedals for a good climate.

A special sporting highlight is the LMU dragon boat race against TUM, which takes place every summer on the Olympic Lake in Munich.

Engagement and Interaction

Impressions

Our building, with its light-flooded architecture, is designed to encourage collaboration. The common areas and a café are meeting places that allow to easily integrate social interaction and informal dialogue into everyday working life. In addition, we regularly organise joint events such as our traditional Christmas Market in December.
